Media relations for Brandenburg Industrial Culture Tourism Network

The Brandenburg Industrial Culture Tourism Network covers the most exciting industrial heritage sites in Brandenburg and Saxony. THIEL PR supports the network with media relations and copywriting work.

Industrialisation in the nineteenth century shaped entire regions in Brandenburg, from the clay-pit lakes around Zehdenick to the mining landscape of Lusatia. Coal, bricks and limestone from Brandenburg played an important part in Berlin’s rapid development into a metropolis. As landmarks, museums and leisure destinations, the former industrial sites now stand as monuments to that past.

Established in 2017, the Brandenburg Industrial Culture Tourism Network (www.industriekultur-brandenburg.de) aims to get holidaymakers interested in industrial culture. As part of their mission, it develops guides for day trips that involve a mix of industrial history, nature and cycling. THIEL PR previously worked on an assignment for the ENERGIE Route of Lausitzer Industriekultur, which is part of the network. The Tourist Network has been one of our clients since 2020.
