Media relations for Weimarer Land region

The Weimarer Land region in the heart of Thuringia surrounds the culturally and historically significant city of Weimar. The region is characterised by picturesque landscapes, historic castles and palaces and charming villages. Apolda, known for its bell foundry and textile industry, and Bad Sulza, a popular spa and health resort, are particular highlights. With a well-developed infrastructure and a mixture of agriculture, crafts and medium-sized companies, the Weimarer Land is both economically and culturally diverse. It offers a charming combination of tradition, nature and modern life.

In summer 2024, the Weimarer Land will host the 2024 European Football Championships, with the German and English national teams preparing for the games at the Spa & Golf Resort Weimarer Land in Blankenhain. A great opportunity to discover a region that is often overshadowed by the world-famous city of Goethe, but has so much to tell. We present the Weimarer Land to the German-speaking media with story ideas, press releases and more.
